The Chilliwack ISP Summer Cultural Program combines English language development classes with fun, interactive field trips throughout Chilliwack and the Lower Mainland. This program will introduce International Students to our School District and the local community, while providing an opportunity to advance proficiency in English, and develop a greater understanding of Canadian culture by participating in exciting group recreational experiences.
Come and experience all that British Columbia’s West Coast has to offer, improve your English, make new friends, and see what our International Student Program is all about! Who knows? You might want to come back for a full year or semester.
The ISP Summer Cultural Program takes place after the official school year ends. In addition to recreational activities, successful applicants will also participate in English Language Learning (ELL) classes, as part of the Chilliwack School District’s annual Summer Learning Academy at Chilliwack Secondary School.

We are very fortunate in Chilliwack to have so many wonderful families to support our International Student program. Our families have all voluntarily opened their homes to provide the “Canadian Experience” for our International Students. You will be welcomed into the home, included in family meals and activities, and have an additional opportunity to develop your English speaking skills.
The ISP Summer Cultural Program runs during the day Monday – Friday, so you will be able to spend time with your Homestay Family in the evenings and on weekends.
